How do i care for my Tiffyvonn.inc accessories?

The Most Basic Rules:
1. Jewllery should always be removed before going to bed. This prevents them (especially earrings or anything metallic) from being bent out of shape.

2. Another time when accessories should never be worn is during close contact sports,to prevent the beads (some of which may be made from glass)from chipping or cracking.
By sports, we also refer to swimming. Never do so with them on as chlorine and salt water will damage and weaken the wires, links and other components.

3. Jewellery should be put on last after dressing and using perfume, hair spray and cosmetics. Beads (especially for pearls) and chains will be damaged or tarnished if they come into contact with corrosive substances such as alchohol.

Even after all my attempts at taking the best care of my jewellery, they still tarnish.
What do I do to reduce/stop this?

4. When not in use, keep your accessories in a cool, dry place.
If possible, store them in air-tight bags/boxes with soft materials and apart from one another. One fuss-free way to do this is to put them back into the bags that they are packaged in when you recieve our items; the plastic helps prevent scratches caused by other jewellery (especially metallic ones).
With reduced contact with air, the oxidation process will slow down and your accessories will not tarnish as easily.

5. Try not to remove your jewellery only immediately before showering and leaving them in the bathroom. The steam and water vapour from your shower are catalysts to speedening up the tarnishing/rusting process.

6. As all sterling silver accessories naturally tarnish after some time, we recommend that you use a soft silver cloth to clean them. After removing your accessories, you may also like to rinse them in warm water and mild soap.

Should any metallic areas of your jewellery tarnish, gently wipe them with vinegar or lemon or lime juice, and then wipe again with warm water.
Please do not forget this last step as any remaining acids on your jewellery will promote the growth of rust.

Hey! What happened to your sold items? They seemed to have disappeared from the homepage.

It's good to know that our customers are observant people (:

Yes, we transfer all our sold items to here.
If you would like to place orders for these items, we will try our best to reproduce them or bring in more stock. However, we make no promises.

In certain cases, we may make minor changes to your item after consulting our valued customers (that means YOU!) due to an inavailability of materials.
